Flying Dubrovnik to Venice

Straight up the Adriatic. One of the shortest jet sectors from Dubrovnik and one where a turboprop makes as much sense as a jet.

Groups moving between two coastal stops, and passengers joining a boat at either end.

What to know about Dubrovnik Airport

Runway
The longest runway in Croatia. It accepts heavy long-range types without a payload penalty.
Customs and border
Croatia is in the Schengen area. Flights to and from non-Schengen states are handled as external border crossings in both directions.
Seasonality
Traffic is strongly seasonal. July and August carry the peak, and the airport is far quieter either side of it.
Best for
The default departure point for Dubrovnik, the Elaphiti islands and the southern Dalmatian coast.

Timing

Under two hours of flying in most categories. A morning meeting in Venice and an afternoon back on the coast is realistic.

Both ends are summer-heavy. The Venice end also carries event weeks that compress availability outside the usual season.
